Missions Week 2012

Sunday, February 12, 2012 - Sunday, February 19, 2012

A team will be visiting from England, staying in host homes and sharing ideas for ministry opportunities.

Rev. Sean Adair will preach on Feb. 12, and Jeff Dietz will bring a special missions message on Feb. 19.

An all-church potluck dinner will be held on Wednesday at 6:30.

Fill a POD Feed a Bod

Friday, February 10, 2012 - Sunday, February 19, 2012

FILL A POD & FEED A BOD offers an opportunity to provide food for families in our local community, as local food banks run low following the holidays.

Volunteers are needed to “man” the POD during traffic hours! Shifts are 30-45 minutes at different times of day from February 10 through 19. Contact to be a part.

And here's the list of needed non-perishable items:

  • TOILET PAPER
  • PAPER TOWELS
  • PEANUT BUTTER
  • CANNED BEANS (KIDNEY, BLACK, REFRIED, ETC.)
  • CANNED FRUIT
  • CANNED SOUP OR CANNED MEAT (CHICKEN, CHILI, STEW, ETC.)
  • BAGS OF SUGAR
  • BAGS OF FLOUR
  • BAGS OF MASA
  • PACKETS OF GRAVY, SAUCES, SEASONINGS

First Class Membership Class February

Every Sunday, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, from 02/19/2012 to 03/04/2012

This three-week class is offered during the Sunday school hour for new and prospective members, affording them an opportunity to learn more about the church. 

Week 1        What it Means to be a Follower of Jesus
Week 2        What it Means to be a United Methodist
Week 3        What it Means to be part of First Church

TRUTH Sunday Evenings

Every Sunday, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

A Sunday evening service called TRUTH is available to the entire church and community. Students lead the worship time and our youth pastor, Jeff Dietz brings a message.
