Men’s Ministry is available to all the men of the church, and open to men in the community. Through fellowship and accountability, relationships are shared through teachings, service projects, retreats, and small groups.
Service Project—Saturday September 27, 2008
Last March we had about 40 men work on about 11 worksites. We did external home repairs, painting, fencing and general clean up. We are planning a similar exercise on Sept 27. This is an opportunity to do mini one-day mission projects, right here in our local community. You will have the opportunity to fellowship with other men from the church as you work side by side. This is a good way for men to have fun while helping someone who cannot help themselves. Scripture commands us to help those who are in need. This project meets that need.
Regardless of your skill set, you can help. Some of our guys have tools and the experience to use them. Others are willing learners. While, some are good at filling in the gaps, nailing boards on a fence and dragging tree limbs to the curb. We can use your help.
On that work day we will be working on 5 to 8 different work sites. Based upon information you provide in your registration sheet, you will be assigned to a project. You will know your work site assignment 4 or 5 days before the work day. Please sign up early so that we can place you in a team for a specific work site. Our desire is to build teams with proper skills for the job at hand.

Friday Men's Breakfast
Rise early and get fed! Join fellow men for a wonderful breakfast each Friday morning at 6:30 am in the Children's Ministry Center. Led by Gary Swindle and designed to minister to the needs of our men. Bring a friend! The breakfast is currently on a summer break and will resume September 19.

Outdoor Adventures
Outdoor Adventures is designed to minister to the needs of men and their sons through relationship-building activities in the great outdoors. The activities are designed to deepen the relationships between father and son as well as with other men and their sons. Outings are scheduled several times a year to enhance participation. Each activity will be designed to maximize safety and provide a given level of competency in the outdoors. Outdoor Adventures offers a Christian setting in which the participants can nurture their relationships with one another and their Savior.
