Refugee Services of Texas
Some of you may have read about how our church is beginning to be involved in helping refugees that have been located to Dallas from all over the world. If you would like to be involved in this, below are some of the needs that they have. I have organized them based on what you might have to give: Time: -Often this is the most important one - just spend time with someone, with a translator, get to know them, make them feel like they are not so alone, and also grow to understand some of their other needs just by spending time with them. Often they have left close family support and have come here on their own. -Rides are very helpful, if you have a car and could drive someone to doctor's appointments, to the grocery store, to job ...

Update on Russ Wise
Here are some prayer requests submitted by Russ Wise for our Missions Potluck in March: 1. Pray for my ability to discerningly respond to those who ask me to help them deal with potential deception in either their lives or the life of their family. 2. Pray with me that those who find my articles on the web will be blessed by the information they find and where appropriate they will find the material useful in helping others recognize the pit falls of false/deceptive teachings. 3. Update on Tyler Savage
Tyler is one of the missionaries that we support at our church. He is now in Karlsruhe, Germany.
