Below is an email from Robert and Emily, who are in England this week on a trip (written by Emily): I had a few minutes this morning so I thought I would let you know how things are going. We got here Saturday morning and neither of us were able to sleep on the plane, but we were able to take short naps in the middle of the day, which allowed us to stay up until that night and get into their time. We were supposed to have a lunch and prayer time on Saturday with some people from the church, but somehow we were not informed that it was canceled, so instead we spent the day with the Adair family. Below is an update from Sharon Roelke, who is currently in Kenya with Bridges International. Jambo! Thank you all for praying, I can really see and feel your prayers. After team meetings the last two nights we were really able to come together as a team. The weather has even cooled a little. We helped do some light construction on a church, visited a babies' home this morning, a Methodist ministry here and a Catholic childrens home this afternoon that had over 600 children. The number of orphans can be overwhelming. Our time with the babies and children was just holding and playing with them and saying prayers over them. Part of it can be blamed on the lack of wifi at moments I could have posted blogs, but it’s also because things are moving so fast and I want to drink it all in and (quite selfishly, I’m sure) I don’t want to go off by myself and blog about it.
