England Prayer Update
Reporting on answered prayers during the trip to England. Answers are below bolded. Prayer Directives for England “TOGETHER Mission” Thank you for praying for us on our mission trip. Here is how God answered your prayers! We are traveling in two groups. Pray that we both arrive safely and on time. The group traveling through Atlanta has a 50 minute layover to get to their connecting flight to Manchester. This includes: Keva, Chris, Cindy, Anna, Ashton, Amy, Liz, Carson, Robert, Steven, Michael and Connor. Please pray there will be no delays and that all of our luggage arrives when we do. England Update 6
Friday One observation that I have made here is that Central Methodist church (our main host church) has a lot of activities throughout the week for the children. They get over 100 in attendance total. However, the parents are not staying . They drop off their children and then return and pick up at the end of the session. Please pray that these young parents will come to know Christ through their children. The volunteers at the church are all older members and eventually they will no longer be able to help. When this generation is gone, sadly the church will be no more. In America, we are not far behind. Jeff keeps reminding the youth that it is up to their generation to keep the church alive. England Update 3
From Tuesday: Today has been filled with serving and sightseeing. We were in another school this morning and did our question and answer about America & Texas and taught them the song. The principal was so impressed that she has asked us to come back! This is a public school where they don’t talk about God so God is definitely moving!! We are very excited and hope to return Friday am if our schedule will allow. As soon as we were done we were whisked away to the train station for our visit to historic York. It was exciting to ride on the train as many of us have not experienced that before. York is an ancient English city and has a wall around it, parts dating back ...
