Lauren Shirley - Media and Technical Director
Lauren Shirley has served on church tech teams since 2001. She led and trained technical volunteers for children's, youth, and adult ministries at other churches before joining First Church with her parents, Paul and Cindy, and brother Robert in 2009. Lauren was involved in sound and technical productions as a student at Carrollton Christian Academy until graduating in 2009. She recently graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a BA in Social Sciences and plans to begin graduate school in the fall of 2012.
Currently, Lauren helps coordinate all the details and volunteers on Sunday mornings. She is involved in the preparation and creation of media elements for weekly services. She also facilitates technical support for Carrollton Christian Academy.
Dana Van Steenbergen - Children's Fine Arts Ministry
Dana enjoys working with the children at First Church because it keeps her young! With the children she is able to pursue her passion of teaching them the JOY of worship.
Dana is also an early elementary teacher for our school, Carrollton Christian Academy. She is the wife of Tom and has the privilege of being mother to Kelsey and Wesley, "two of the most awesome kids ever!"
