Our young people in Junior High and High School, under the pastoral leadership of the Youth Pastor and the Youth Team leadership, which plans and assists in areas of student development, including Small Groups, Bible Studies, Mission emphasis, Youth in Ministry, and Leadership Retreats.

Priority is our Wednesday night fellowship and teaching for our Student Ministry in grades 7 through 12.

Camps Our youth have a Midwinter Retreat annually, as well as a Summer Camp for Jr. & Sr. High.
Confirmation Classes for 6th graders are led by our pastoral staff to prepare our young people for church membership. With a weekend retreat and Sunday afternoon classes, these times are a highlight in the lives of our pre-teens.
Fish Creek Ranch is an annual work retreat for 7th and 8th graders and Youth Team members which takes place in the fall.
Youth In Ministry (YIM) Youth In Ministry is a program geared around an annual early summer trip. The youth have ministered at churches in other cities, children's homes, and have served as leaders at the One Way Camp in the northwest Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church for the past two years. Preparation for the program begins in the fall. Contact for more information.
Youth Team - Our Student Ministries disciple our young people in Junior High, High School and College. The Youth Team plans and assists in areas of student development, including Small Groups, Bible Studies, Mission emphasis, Youth in Ministry, and Leadership Retreats.
Missions Team of First Church has been an integral part of the outreach ministries. Our Mission Faith Promise supports several missionary efforts and their families, throughout the United States and the world.
