First Methodist Carrollton exists to know Christ and make Christ known. We are a multigenerational, multiethnic Global Methodist Church just north of Dallas, Texas. We have a rich Wesleyan heritage and a vibrant faith in Jesus, and we're committed to spreading scriptural holiness locally and around the world.  

We have made a deliberate decision to worship in a contemporary way, while still cherishing and integrating the historic songs, creeds, and prayers of our faith. As Global Methodists, we follow the calendar and liturgies of the Christian year. We celebrate Advent leading up to Christmas, and we journey through Lent and Holy Week before celebrating Easter. By focusing on the major events that were important in Jesus’ life, we can learn to be like Him and love God and people just as He did. We experience God’s grace together as we celebrate Holy Communion, baptism, prayer, worship, and the study of the Scriptures. We celebrate our children and youth, and they fully participate in the life of the church. In our worship services, we love to sing together, pray for each other, and be encouraged by the word of God.

We’re passionate about missions and living out the gospel. We are intentional about discipleship and helping each other grow in Christ. The community is definitely the best part of this church, and we can’t wait to get to know you and hear your story.
