Where Christ Is Not Known

The term missions can mean a lot of different things, but here’s a simple way to think of it. Evangelism is helping people believe in Jesus. Missions is helping people know there is a Jesus to believe in.

3.5 BILLION people around the world have no access to Jesus - no churches, no Bibles, no Christian resources, no Christians. As a church, we prioritize missions in to the unreached, taking the gospel where Christ is not yet known. But this doesn’t have to be across the globe - there are also tons of opportunities to do this in our own backyard.

At First Methodist Carrollton, we believe everyone—kids, parents, students, you—has a role to play in sharing God’s love. And the best part? There are tons of ways to jump in, no matter your season of life.

Church Planting

We have two teams working in closed countries. We can’t share much about what they’re doing, but God is doing great things among unreached peoples.
